My Mac is Now a Glorified Fan
So, I tried to replace the RAM, hard drive, and CPU in my 2012 2544, and the only thing I haven’t tried swapping back into the thing is the original RAM, only because I know the sticks work, as I tested them in my laptop. On boot, the screen does nothing, and the fan just blasts air. Anyone have any idea what I should troubleshoot first?
The second LED on the motherboard does not come on upon powering it up. I have a feeling this means my power supply is dead, but I want to make sure nonetheless.
Update (08/23/2021)
The plastic on the left side is messed up. Should I try and shave it down?

If you press the power button and immediately start holding alt/option, after holding it for about 30 seconds, do you see a white screen with Macintosh HD (or your OS partition) selectable?

@kennygee - The corner edge does look a bit messed up. The short row of pins looks a bit mis-shaped as well.
If the plastic has been pushed down so its asking as a wedge then you will need to carefully remove the pile so the chip seats properly. You'll also want to make sure the pins are not misaligned as well.
While not in focus the GPU chip looks like it has too much TIM.
Less is more here! you'll need to clean off the TIM on both the CPU and GPU and use just enough to cover the metal heat spreader on the CPU and just the black silicon chip on the GPU as you don't want any TIM covering the Green carrier board. You may need to use an loadable spray can with 95% reagent grade isopropyl alcohol to clean off what's collected on the small SMD devices.
