Touch screen doesn’t work after card reader change

Hello !

I just tried to repair the card reader with a spare part bought on Ifixit.
the new reader doesn’t work better ( games are detected but error message in return). Moreover the touch screen doesn’t work any longer ….

Do you have any idea?

Thank you for your help! This worked perfectly.

The connector was not properly attached to the motherboard .

I had the same issue after replacing the card reader. Turns out, the ribbon on the card reader wasn’t seated fully. Reseated the ribbon and the screen works great.
