How do I connect iPhone 4 to the internet with “connect to iTunes”lock

I bought used iPhone 4 with dead battery, I changed it. Then I was greated with passcode screen, previous owner told me some codes that can be correct. But they all ended up being wrong. iPhone locked it self and now asks about iTunes. I told that previous owner, he deleted it on he’s iCloud page. Now I just need to connect it to the internet and it will wipe it self. The question is how? I saw that answer and I don’t know will it work, cuz iPhone 4 runs iOS 7 (mine) Connect locked phone to wifi so it will delete itself remotly? if it you can give me some other options it whould be awesome. Thanks. P.S sorry for my bad English.

Solution is to buy new motherboard :/

You need a PC or mac with iTunes installed. Just connect them with the usb cable and open iTunes, it will then tell you the phone needs to be restored.

@nikipod Passcode lock and apple ID lock are two different things. If your phone was passcode locked and you try too many wrong passcodes it will disable itself asking you to connect to iTunes. You will need to do this so you can restore it and only then will you know if it is apple ID locked. If it isn’t it will allow you to set it up.

If for some reason iTunes doesn’t recognise it you will need to put it in recovery or DFU mode. But if it is telling you to connect to iTunes you just need to do that and restore it. Than hope for the best!

I have passcode lock, owner removed Apple ID from phone remotely. My power button broke, what should I do :( Maybe I should use hes Apple ID/he’s pc and it will be restored. I have he’s contact and he isn’t against this idea.
