How to replace fuse on GE Profile microwave 1.1 cu ft, PEM318M3SS
The power suddenly died on this microwave, model PEM318M3SS, and all the sites have for other microwaves. I believe there’s an access panel inside, looks like something you could open with a flathead screwdriver, but I don’t want to break the piece. None of my searches turn up this model, which is very common. 1.1 cu ft, theoretically countertop, but usually mounted under a cabinet.

Did you try reviewing guidelines for GE microwave ovens in these forums? To the right of your post is an image with a link to disassemble your unit to find the circuit board and any fuse on it.

Yes I did look. Those models have the openings where it doesn’t exist on this model. Alas. Hence why I posted.

Without service manuals or someone knowing more, you're left to try disassembling it.

@Vicky K everything im seeing for profile ge microwaves is saying to take off the front control panel. Be very careful. If it is plugged in now, unplug it and tomorrow open it up. Be careful as there is a capacitor that is most unpleasant to discharge into yourself. Try carefully opening it up, and looking for a fuse. Alot of fuses when they go can be diagnosed by a simple visual inspection.
