What OS is installed in the laptop, Win 8.1 or Win 10?
Try getting into BIOS on startup by pressing the F2 key repeatedly when the Sony logo is on the screen.
When in BIOS check if the HDD is shown as being detected or not.
An 0xc0000225 error code usually means a failed HDD or perhaps the Windows boot manager file on the HDD is corrupted and the laptop can't boot into Windows from the HDD
