Asus ac88u wifi not working

I bought this router from a second hand electronics market. It turns on and LAN ports work fine, however there is no Wi-Fi. The LED for Wi-Fi is off, the button to turn Wi-Fi on does nothing, i have reflashed the original firmware and also tired DDWRT, where it says that the wifi radio is off. Can anyone advice what to do in this situation?

Have you logged into the router's web GUI and then checked what it shows for the WiFi settings, you didn't say?

If not, here's the user guide for the router. Go to p.15 to see how to log in and to p.55 to check the WiFi settings.

It could just be a problem with the WiFi button.

I have gone through the Web GUI. Everything is okay. Even the Radio is on, still no respite. Updated to latest firmware as well.
