Replaced battery, now mac not powering up. Battery percentage displays

I replaced the battery using ifixit battery, kit and instructions (MacBook Pro 15" Touch Bar 2017 Battery Replacement). Once it was all put together, the battery percentage displays on screen upon opening screen and plugging power supply in and has charged up to 100%. However, pressing the power button on has had no effect. Nothing comes to life.

I have tried SMC, PRAM, Repair/safety mode, disconnecting and reconnecting battery, double checking all connections that were disconnected and reconnected from motherboard etc. Nothing works. Any advice?

Did you check your ribbon cable connections? The Power Button/TouchID cable is located here

I did specifically check this based on the fact that it is the Power Button/TouchID cable and everything seems fine and undamaged here.

@shray - If the display is showing the battery and shows a charged battery, then the issue is within the logic board with the power button logic.

I think its time to visit an independent Mac repair professional or Apple Store to let them service your system.
