How to replace the LCD cable for the screen?
I suspect there's an issue not with the display itself, but with the cable connection since the screen worked perfectly fine when it was angled at certain angles when booting up the laptop, how to replace the LCD cable? All videos seen so far are about replacing screen itself, not the cable.

Cup of tea you have the cable disconnected from the motherboard as well as the display. Can you check to see how the original is routed? Post some good images of what you see with your QUESTION. WE might all together figure this out. Adding images to an existing question
