Why does my Cinema Display just not work?
Nothing works on it, no sound, no charging, no nothing. Doesn’t even get detected by any mac I use.
(which includes, late 2009 poly MacBook, early 2009 20inch iMac and a late 2009 27inch iMac ) someone please have a fix for this as I’ve been dealing with it for a long time now

Have you checked the power supply?

If it's not being detected then it's a bad power supply and/or the logic board is shot. Both are going to require disassembly of the unit and available known-good parts for testing.
