Idle adjustment for mower
cannot get mower to idle up. Replaced the spring but will run a while then slowly die unless I manually move idle arm.

You will have to look carefully at the linkages to figure this out. There is probably part of the linkage that hits a stop on the low end and it either going past it or has been bent. Since it is a mechanical governor, the problem might be there.
