S6 Tablet Lite can no longer connect to my home network, wifi, etc

Is the WiFi turning on and either not detecting or connecting to the network or not turning on?

If it is turning on and detecting the network but not connecting it may be a software problem.

Check if any one of the following resolves the problem:

• Wipe the cache and check if the WiFi works OK
• Start the tablet in safe mode and check if the WiFi works OK. If it does then a downloaded app may be the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and check the tablet in "normal mode" between each uninstall to see whether the WiFi works OK or not. When it does the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the culprit. A downloaded app is one that you downloaded and installed on the tablet and wasn't pre-installed when you first got it.
• Factory reset the tablet using the tablet's factory restore feature (in Settings) and check if the Wifi works OK. Note: Be aware that doing this will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the tablet to its factory default condition, backup the tablet to the cloud or a computer before performing the reset. If the WiFi works OK after the reset, restore the tablet to what is was by using the backup and the tablet's restore feature (in Settings)

If turning on and not detecting the network, try using the tablet's WiFi as close as possible to your WiFi router i.e. <10cm and check if it detects and connects to your network OK.

If it does then it may be an antenna (supplier example only) problem or antenna connection problem.
