Can Apple Watch series 1 LCD 42mm be used on Apple Watch series 3 42mm

Hi guys, random question which most likely has an answer of a big NO. Anyways, I have an apple watch series 1 at home which I broke the glass on a while back but the LCD still works fine. The other day I broke my series 3 and the LCD also failed annoyingly. I bought the new apple watch SE 2 but as I do some rough stuff at work id love to be able to use my series 3 so I wouldn't have to worry as much. I was wondering if I can use the LCD from series 1 to repair my series 3 and then buy the glass separately due to the full assembly being so expensive and not worth it. TIA

P.s both are only GPS if that makes a difference
