KitchenAid Dishwasher KUDM01TJBL0 Drain Pump runs intermittently

I have had similar problems with my kitchenaid (model KUDM01TJBL0) Mine wouldnt drain i pulled the inside apart down to the food chopper and even removed it as it seems i only had 3 of the 4 screws under the strainer thought one may be in there but no luck finding it yet. I also took the drain hose completely off checked where it connected to the dishwasher as well as my sink garbage disposal and no problems there i then ran water wide open through it and got bout a penny sice chunk out and water flowed great through the hose after that. So i put it all back together started a light cycle on the dishwasher to see if it fixed the issue water flowed out as it should. It did through its first rinse cycle. Then it start a wash cycle or whatever the 2nd one is and ran great heated great and then when time to drain it wouldnt drain at all. I noticed where my 2 drain hoses conected one of the male type ends was dripping during the first cycle where it rinsed fine and drained fine. So i disconnected the hoses and held it in my sunk to watch it drain but never would drain at all. The rinse button light flashes and u can NOT cancel it. So i had to redo it all again this time i will hook the drain hose from the dishwasher striaght to my sink disposal since its long enough and fits same as the extended hose. I seen some dishwashers have a flood or leak sensor or aomething to prevent flooding if u do have a leak or anything. I thought maybe since the other hose was leakin during the first drain cycle which did fine then wouldnt drain during the 2nd cycle maybe that was the problem. Atleast i am hoping thats it but would love to know what yall figure out or anyone who has had the same.issue or pointers would be really glad to hear them thanks.
