Is DD2 the same as DDR2?

I have a 1GB stick of memory labeled DD2. I got it from a friend who thought it would work with the A1055 iBook. However, it does not. So, I'll be selling it. But a quick eBay search for DD2 turns up around 8 results. So, I ask this: are DD2 and DDR2 one and the same?

Thanks!

Was it from a reputable manufacturer? Some very low budget ram can be wrongly labelled by manufacturers who are not reputable, an do not actually know the correct terminology. I know its a stretch, but it might be true. As for A1055 iBooks you'll need DDR RAM.

Never heard of DD2 - The Proper term is DDR2 (Double Data Rate Version 2)

iBooks do not take DDR2 they take DDR (without the 2) Usually DDR 333 (PC2700)

That's what I thought. But it's really weird... the "DD2" stick kinda fit in an old iBook G4 board, but it wouldn't fit in a board from the same family. To Craigslist it is then!
