I broke my housing around my ignition switch ,and the wires have no place to be attached now ,I can still put in new switch and key but truck just starts and dies immediately is there a way I can install a 1990 GMC Sierra steering column into this 2004 Silverado and make truck run ,or eliminate the wires that have been broken away from housing and make it run I can't afford column or to have professionally fixed can anyone walk me threw the process to either hotwire this or bypass the switch and security
