Fire damages MacBook Air A2337

MacBook Air has fire damaged screen (partially) and dead keyboard/trackpad. No backup :-(

Machine boots using power button to user login which is visible on damaged screen but no way to go any further.

Can I force connect using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

Can I force sharing or other connection to other Mac without keyboard or mouse?

Can I remove hard drive install in an external case and use sharing or other to boot from or connect to hard drive?

Tony

You should be able to access the data using a wired external keyboard and target disk mode. Connect a wired keyboard to the system using one of the USB-C ports, then power on the computer while holding the T key on the wired keyboard. Continue to hold the key until you see the Thunderbolt icon appear on the screen. You can then connect a Thunderbolt cable to the damaged computer and to a working computer, and the internal drive of the damaged computer should show up as an attached external drive on the working computer. You can find more info here.
