Screen damaged but "dimming zones" seems to work
Screen has been cracked for a while but finally ended up sliding off my bed and is now much more "broken". The digitizer/ touch still functions. Having the screen on seems to make it all white and at full brightness (change the brightness via the android slider doesn't change it). I am able to see some detail in ways of shadows on the screen, mainly the stark transitions between sections (like after pulling down the notifications). It also seems like the "lcd" layer is broken but the backlight is still fine, which doesn't make too much sense since it's a oled, but that's the best way I can describe it. There is also a very weird behavior when it goes into it's "always on" mode, aka when it just show the clock and basic info but turns all the other pixels off when the phone screen is off. The clock and info will be clearly visible but a white strip with scroll over the whole screen (strangely similar to when recording a crt and having dark strips scroll across, but with this it's actually seen in person)
Bu iyi bir soru mu?
