How to fix loud noise after making a small dent on my keyboard

Block Image

So something heavy accidentally fell on my keyboard . I have uploaded photo and videos to explain the area and demo of the noise . So after the impact this noise started and I can hear it change when I lift my MacBook . I suspect it's the fan since it gets worse as the computer heats and only starts after I open few applications . Moving my MacBook effects the noise it makes . Please help fix this . It's very annoying . I also asked a friend to open my MacBook and have a look at the fan but it was spinning fine without making any noise so . Both were very confused .

I checked the teardown of your computer (MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Teardown), and noticed that the fan is right below the dent. That means it is probably the fan that is making the noise. You said you opened the computer and there was no noise. My theory is that when you opened the case, you relieved the pressure the dent was putting on the fan, allowing it to spin properly. If that is the case, replacing the fan won't do much. You could try replacing the whole upper case (MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Upper Case Replacement), however this is an extremely complicated repair. If you feel like you can do it, and don't have much to lose, then go for it! This will replace the part with the dent, so the fan can spin freely. Let us know how it goes!

Good luck!

Yea, we tried to remove the fan to check if it was broken , but we could spin it without any problem without hearing any noise . So I guess the fan is ok something else must be creating issue for the fan

My guess is that the problem part dented upper case, unless the bottom cover is dented too. The upper case is the part on the top of the computer that has the palm rests, keyboard, and trackpad. Unfortunately, this part is very hard to replace.
