Hi @electrorouge,
Some troubleshooting steps to do to try and isolate what's happening
Don't know the device but is the red light on a normal condition when it is connected or is it a different colour e.g. red for standby, green for on/connected etc?
If it is normally only red when on and working, then looking at the user manual there's also audio capability between the two units. so can you hear anything at the parent unit end coming from the baby unit or perhaps at the baby unit end when you talk into the parent unit?
If you have a Windows PC (laptop or desktop) that has WiFi capability, download, install and run this free WiFi sniffer program and check if you can detect the WiFi network signal from the parent unit.
Most probably there won't be a network name associated with the unit as it will be hidden but the network will still show up in the program.
If it does detect hidden networks, turn off the parent unit (ensure that the baby unit was turned off beforehand so as to not confuse the issue) and see if it is no longer being detected by the program. To prove it is the one turn the parent unit back on again.
If it is being detected then the WiFi is working but for some reason the video signal isn't.
If it isn't being detected at all then the WiFi isn't working
Maybe a start to find out what's happening.
