Replacement DC in part didn't fix issue

Hi, so about a month ago my macbook just stopped charging.

I've known for a while that the battery was dying and the charging port heating up.

I bought a replacement DC in part and put it in. I've checked with different chargers too and theres no light coming on at all on the charger? I've disconnected the battery and connected it to try charging and still nothing.

Any ideas what this could be next?

Thanks

@dm96 I'd start by installing and running CoconutBattery Take a picture of the results and post those with your Question Adding images to an existing question This "the charging port heating up" and that "I bought a replacement DC in part" would lead me to install a new battery as well. You are no telling us if you got a new battery. The chargers you've tried are original chargers? More info on those? Of course, you have also tried a SMC reset. You have checked the physical connection to make sure all the pins are okay and that the connector is ok. Just because it is "new" doesn't mean it is working :-)

The Logic Board would be my only guess. I have been using a MacBook Unibody A1278, and I had the same problem. I took it to a Mac Technician, he swapped out the DC port and I still had the same problem. I replaced my Logic Board and the problem was resolved.
