My rear camera only works when I'm taking pictures through the apps and it takes the pictures in black and white my question is how do I fix this issue so that I can use my rear camera . I can use selfie mode but even that gives me an error message.

Try starting the phone in safe mode and check if both the cameras work OK.
If they do then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and then test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall to find out if it is working OK or not. When it does then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the cause of the problem. A downloaded app is one that you downloaded and installed on the phone and wasn't pre-installed on the phone when you first got it.

Having the same issue tried going into safe mode and the camera never came on it always kicked me out ?
