Is the audio in/audio out port replaceable on this model?
We have scratchy and bad audio, quality using various cables, with our MacBook Pro audio port. Is this part user replaceable?

I’ve marked the port here, it’s a custom part sadly.
Did you try cleaning? Try using a oil free spray cleaner.

I kind of figured it was attached to the motherboard. After posting my question, I remembered I had some electrical contact cleaner. I gave it a gentle pod with a Q-tip, that was given a haircut, so as not to leave a bunch of fluff in the port. If that doesn’t work, I will convince my better half that she should use the USB to audio adapter.
