My phone has no space even though almost all of my apps, videos, docs and audio are saved on the external SD card

Open the My Files app and tap on analyse storage and check if you can clear some unnecessary data from the phone.
Alternatively according to the specifications the phone supports micro SD cards with a capacity up to 1TB. Maybe change the SD card to a larger capacity one.
Hopefully with whatever amount of data you have on the phone now, you are doing regular backups to the cloud or a PC in case the phone fails for whatever reason (water damage, dropped) and the SD card along with it. Be a shame to lose access to all of it.
