TV will not stay powered on

Hello all!
My aunt has a Vizio D48-f-f0 smart tv. One day it randomly stopped working and would not power on. Attempted other power cables and outlets but no luck. So I took the TV home with me and took the back shell off it, and discovered this model tv only has 1 motherboard (that serves both as a power supply and also tv processing) I found the exact part number replacement and bought and installed. The TV will now power up for about 5/6 seconds but then will power back off. I can see the input menu briefly but does not load any smart tv sections and also can not seem to access the menu option. Wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions as to where to go from here...

One thing worth noting, the plug where the power cable connects to the TV wires directly to this board so there is no secondary board

Did a continuity check on cable and also tested volts on the power cable itself, which all tested good

I was randomly looking on here and saw your question. Assuming your new board is good, an external short on the inverter board or somewhere else? A stuck button / short momentary button?

@alanc24639 "power up for about 5/6 seconds" let us know if you see the power LED turning on and then off or if it stays on. If it stays on but has a black screen you do want to check the backlight strips.

Turn the TV on. Once the screen turns black, use a flashlight and shine the beam at an angle against the screen. Do that in a darkened room. See if you can make out shadows or shapes or even see the Vizio symbol. If you do, then it is your backlight strips that have failed.

If the Power LED turns off and there is no power to your TV, then the issue can be the display. We need to see the connection from the main board to the LCD on the LCD side. It is possible that the display shortens it out and turns it off. Post pictures of what the back of your TV looks like (with the back panel removed of course ;-)
