How to replace flash drive?

I opened up my late 2015 iMac 27 inch retina and was surprised not to find a physical hard drive. My computer crapped out last week after running flawlessly since I bought it new. Ended up with the blinking folder of death. I’m thinking the factory installed 256 GB flash drive failed, how do I replace? What kit do I need? Can I also run a second SSD drive?

Thank you, but it did not. Include an SSD or fusion drive only a flash drive.

Opened up and no Hard drive. I guess it only has flash?

@lovemyimac - A Fusion drive uses both drive ports! It’s not a single device it’s two: The SATA drive and the PCIe Blade drive.

As you stated the SATA dive was not present, that only leaves the blade drive which can be by it’s self.

@danj so the blade drive is what I need to replace then? Originally I ordered with a 256G drive. Can you recommend what products I need to get this computer back up and running?

@lovemyimac - In iMac's I always recommend pin compatible drives like the OWC Aura Pro X2 SSD as its a lot of work to go back in to dicker with the other options. I recommend going with a 1TB as the smallest.
