Hi,

I'm having trouble finding information on whether the M1 pro keyboard parts (A2442) are suitable for the 14" M2 pro (A2779).

I'm thinking more specifically of the backlight panel. Has anyone ever had to replace them?

Some sellers list them together, but many list them separately.

Apple only offers a full uppercase as a replaceable unit which you now can get directly from Apple Parts.

Why are you replacing the keyboard backlight?

@tamasnanasi - What happened to the keyboard backlight?

Spilled water. All good, professional cleaning solved every critical problem, just the backlight is non-homogeneous/uneven.
