Cpu reaching 95° C a desktop no app opened which gpu is chilling at 50

After turning on the laptop cp u will reach 95 even while doing nothing but the gpu is perfectly fine at around 50 even when gaming cpu is 95 while gpu stays around 85 my configuration is i5 12450 H and rtx 3050 with 16gb ram and 512 gb storage I don't have any warranty any more and i always use laptop on a table in well ventilated room mostly in the room with ac or in front of a deserts cooler

Hi @kartikey,

Check the CPU activity percentage value in Task Manager to see if the CPU is doing a lot of work in the background and if so what processes are the most demanding.

There may be a lot of things happening that don't require the GPU to be used much

To get to Task Manager, press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys (all three together) then select Processes → CPU

I did and it reach max to max of 5 to 6 percent. And there are no miners or virus as I regularly check for them now I am thinking about swaping the thermal paste on cpu but I have never done it before and that why I reached to ifixit to get related help as I have heard that company use liquid metal and opening heat sink it without experience may lead to problems
