My laptop is slow, how do I make it faster?

The memory is hard mounted on the motherboard, so it cannot be upgraded.

The only option to increase performance is to replace the HDD with a 2.5" 7mm sata SSD.

Here's a video that shows what to do.

In the video they also reinstalled the existing HDD in the CD drive slot so as to increase the amount of storage in the laptop.

Besides increasing the available storage in the laptop, doing this allows you to have only the Operating System (Windows) and 3rd party apps installed on the SSD, whilst all your data will be stored on the 2nd drive.
