My Maytag MVW7230HW0 sounds like a helicopter when it gets faster speed in spin cycle. I just replaced the clutch and spinner. Online people are talking about rotor or bearings (gear case). I am including a video.

Perform TEST #3b: Drive System – Motor as shown on p.16 of the tech sheet for the washer.
At least this may prove whether the problem is electrical i.e. spinning too fast, not controlled or mechanical i.e. not spinning correctly.

I tried the test low speed, test medium speed and they both did nothing.
I tried test SPIN HIGH SPEED and that worked. Not sure what caused low and medium to never start.
See Step.10 of Test 3b on p.17 and check the resistance of the motor windings.
