My ice maker stopped making ice when I change the water filter. At the same time the shelf led light started to blink for two seconds and off for 5-6 seconds. Is this an error code? Model KRMF706ESS04

How many times does it blink in the two second period and is it the same number of blinks in the following 2 second period after the 5-6 second pause?

Enter the Service Diagnostic mode as described in the sheet and perform Service Test - 56 Ice Maker Error Codes and check what error codes (if any) are displayed by the test.
Since the problem occurred after you replaced the water filter, also try performing Service Test - 45 Ice Maker Water Fill Test and check what it shows.
