Hi @kayjordan

Are the lights working in the refrigerator?

If they're not working, then if you've proven that there's power available at the wall outlet where the refrigerator is connected, check if the 250V 10A glass fuse on the EMI filter board in the refrigerator is OK and not blown.

Below is an image showing the fuse on the board. It would be cheaper to replace the fuse than to replace the whole board but you would have to solder it in. If you wish to change the board, search online for Samsung DA27-00022B to find suppliers that suit you best.

If the lights are working, then it may be a problem on the control board.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your refrigerator issue! Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot why it’s not powering on after the power outage:

1. Check the Outlet

  • Plug another device (like a lamp or phone charger) into the same outlet to confirm it’s providing power.
  • If the outlet doesn’t work, check your circuit breaker panel. Reset any tripped breakers.

2. Inspect the Power Cord

  • Examine the refrigerator's power cord for any visible damage or loose connections. If it looks damaged, it may need to be replaced.

3. Test the GFCI Outlet (if applicable)

  • If the refrigerator is plugged into a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlet, check if the GFCI has tripped. Press the "Reset" button on the outlet to restore power.

4. Internal Fuse or Surge Protector

  • Some refrigerators have an internal fuse or surge protector that might have blown during the power outage. Consult your refrigerator's manual to locate and test these components.

5. Control Board Issues

  • Power outages or surges can damage the control board. If none of the above steps work, you may need to inspect or replace the control board. Look for burn marks or other signs of damage on the board.

6. Check for Warranty or Professional Help

  • If you’re unable to resolve the issue yourself, contact the manufacturer or a professional technician, especially if the refrigerator is still under warranty.

Let us know how it goes, and feel free to ask for more help if needed!
