Where is the CMOS Battery located?
I am trying to locate the CMOS Battery - but it does not appear on the motherboard - is it on the underside of the motherboard?

try searching for HP Pavilion 15 Laptop cmos battery location it is amazing what you will find.

most newer models rely on internal batteries for BIOS/cmos, so if you don't see any battery buttons on your board it means that it relies on your built in battery.

Thx - I think it might be the model that has an internal battery - since it is not even mentioned in the Service Manual. Thanks again for your help.
