Home WiFi not working

Good morning from Scotland. I am an EE WiFi customer. Our WiFi has not been working for the last few days. The router has a green light that should be turquoise. I have followed EE's advice on their website, switch it on and off again and reset it. Still no interwebs. Could some kind person please let me know if there is anything else I can realistically do myself to fix the problem? 🧐 Thank you in advance

What is the make and model number of the router?

Hi @heinzbeanz

If you've got the EE home app try changing the router's brightness value to 100% using the app and check if the colour changes to blue (turquoise?).

If it does, use a pin (paperclip) to reset the router and check if it starts up and connects to the internet OK.

If it indicates that it has connected OK but you're still not seeing the WiFi network on your phone (TV etc) then the router is faulty.

If it doesn't change to blue, then either the router is faulty or there's a problem with the connection to EE

Thank you for your answer. I will try all this. Hopefully it works. However, big news as well. My wife finally reported it after 10+ days. Miracles do happen 🤣
