The AT&T Trimline 210M is a corded phone with a lighted keypad and 3 one touch memory buttons. Available in white and black.

How can I set the one touch dialing?

I followed the manual but my phone doesn't seen to accept my one touch or memory entries.

Hi @jenniferrehder

Just confirming that you tried the method shown in the image below and it doesn't store the number on any one of the 3 "emergency symbol buttons" on the phone, and also none of the speed dialing numbers are saved as well, is this correct?

Are you doing this with the phone plugged into the telephone line socket?

Yes, I tried it by the book and nothing seems to happen. It's a brand new phone. It is plugged into my Mediacom modem since the house doesn't have the old time wall phone jacks. Thanks

@jenniferrehder

Is the phone service working i.e. can you hear the dialing tone when to go to make a call?

If there's no dial tone, just confirming that the Mediacom modem has a dedicated port for a phone service (which the phone is plugged into) and not just Ethernet ports for computer and TV etc internet connections?

If you can make and receive calls OK, return the phone to where you purchased it and get a refund or a replacement as it is faulty.

The phone requires power for the memory to be retained and the only way it gets this is from the phone line - be it provided by a modem or a cable in from the street.

Thanks so much, yes the phone works to call out and receive calls. So perhaps the memory function is just not working.
