Backlit keyboard stoped working

After changing thermal paste I was putting components together and while installing the keyboard the ribbon cable for backlight was bent a little too much accidentally, now it had a small part of it that's seem broken, even though I tried to flatten it with my fingers, since then backlit won't work anymore and I get an error concerning touchpad when running the BIOS ' diagnosis, which I believe is normal since both touchpad and keyboard are connected to the motherboard using one ribbon cable (touchpad and keyboard work fine)

Is there a way to fix it at home ?
