There isn't a separate RTC (Real Time Clock - aka cmos) coin cell battery connected to the motherboard.
The RTC function is provided by a feed taken from the battery in the laptop.
If you think that the BIOS has become corrupted and want to try and reset it back to its factory default state there are two options that you can try.
a). Start the RTC reset with the system powered off and connected to AC power. Press and hold the power button for twenty five (25) seconds. The system RTC Reset occurs after you release the power button.
b). Disconnect the charger (if it is connected) and then open the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Press and hold the Power button operated for a full 30 seconds and then release it. Reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard, close the laptop, connect the charger and check if the laptop turns on OK. Here's the service manual for the laptop. Go to the bottom of p.16 (of 83 pdf) to view the procedure to disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. You don't have to remove the battery from the laptop, just disconnect it from the motherboard.
If it turns on OK there may be a message stating that the date and time are incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset. Once the date and time have been corrected, the message won't appear the next time the laptop is turned on. Also any user definable BIOS settings that were changed by you to suit whatever system requirements you needed, will have t be change back again as well.

"The Dell Vostro 7510 does not have a separate coin-cell CMOS battery. It uses the Main System Battery to power the RTC (Real-Time Clock).
The large black battery you see is the main system battery, and it also functions as the CMOS battery for this model.
If you are seeing the 3-amber, 2-white blink code, try a Hard Reset:
You should only consider replacing the main battery if the troubleshooting steps above do not solve the problem.
