Hello, I have a Moto g 25 the screen was cracked badly and then later water entered however it still powers on I lost all my data and my Gmail account because I forgot my password is it a possibility it can be temporarily repaired so I can gain access to my Gmail and how much would cost
First off, do NOT continue to use your device! It will damage it more than the water has already damaged the device! Grab Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+, a toothbrush or q-tip, PHYSICALLY open the device up, and get to scrubbing! And don't even THINK about putting it in a bag of rice, as seen here!
Water damage is tricky; you can never tell how much damage has been done. Some phones shrug it off while others may never power on again.
Whether your phone can be repaired isn't something we can answer here; it will take a professional experienced with liquid damage to evaluate the phone and determine if it can be repaired. Data recovery is another specialization that could help you; if possible a repair shop that offers both services would be ideal.
iFixit is a resource for people who want to repair their own devices, so while you're welcome to attempt cleaning and possibly replacing the battery and screen (the two parts that tend to not survive liquid exposure), it isn't something that iFixit can do for you, nor can they offer an estimate on what it would cost, since they don't offer any repair services here.
It sounds like your best option at this point would be to look for a local repair shop that offers liquid damage and data recovery services. You can also try iFixit's Businesses page to see if there's someone near you or that offers mail-in services.
Be aware that for forgotten passwords, the usual fix is to restore the phone to factory settings, which will erase all data on the phone - exactly the opposite of what you're trying to accomplish! However, there may be ways around that for an Android phone; a data recovery specialist would know if password bypass possible and how to accomplish it.
Whatever you decide to do, do it sooner rather than later. The longer the phone goes untreated, the lower your chances of recovering it so it's vital do take care of it as soon as you can.
