Hi @haroldmcnelly

The water could be coming from the freezer compartment when the refrigerator is in the defrost cycle.

During the auto defrost cycle the compressor and the evaporator fan are both turned off and a defrost heater under the evaporator unit is turned on to melt the accumulated ice that is covering the evaporator unit.

The melt water then drains down a tube which comes out above the drain pan which is located under the compartments near the compressor motor where it then evaporates naturally.

Disconnect the power to the refrigerator and check that the drain tube is not blocked with dust (or insects etc) where it comes out above the pan, as this could cause the meltwater to backup and overflow from the freezer compartment and into the refrigerator compartment.

If the drain hose is clear etc disconnect the power to the refrigerator and then remove the panel, inside at the back of the freezer compartment to gain access to the evaporator unit which is behind the panel. (Access to the panel is through the freezer door at the front)

Under the evap unit is a trough where the ice meltwater collects and then flows down through a hole (which the hose is connected to) and drains down to the pan underneath. Pour a measured amount of water into the trough (1 cup) and check that all of it reaches the pan underneath.

If hardly any water gets to the pan and ends up in the refrigerator compartment, then the hose may have come adrift from the fitting under the trough. Unfortunately I cannot find any information re your model how that would be accessed.
