using your screwdriver, carefully remove the 4 screws holding the speaker together.

using a heat gun, heat the base until you can pry up into the speaker with the spludger.

carefully using the spludger, carefully disconnect the charging port's wires that connect to the motherboard.

once you get into the speaker, unscrew the 6 screws that are holding the speaker in place.

with the speaker assembly now removed, you should now be left with the motherboard and battery.

using the screwdriver, unscrew the 6 screws that are holding down the motherboard.

carefully pry up the motherboard using the spludger.

with the motherboard left to one side, carefully unplug the battery connector on the motherboard.

remove the battery.

using a pair of scissors, carefully cut a slit the sponge casing. you should now be able to remove the battery.
