A laptop battery is one of the primary components responsible for providing power to the device. If compromised your device will not be operable. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and simple experience to replace this essential part.

Before you begin make sure your device is powered off and not plugged in.

1. Adım 1 Lower Case
  For your safety, unplug all peripheries, discharge the battery below 25%, and power down your device before beginning disassembly.
  
  Remove the two rubber feet on the lower case.
  
  If you intend to reuse the rubber feet: Use a hairdryer or iOpener to lightly heat the feet to loosen the adhesive that secures them prior to removal. Take care not to stretch out the rubber.

2. Adım 2
  Remove the six M2XL6 Phillips screws that secure the lower case.

  Insert a nylon spudger into the seam between the lower case and chassis.
  
  Pry around the entire perimeter until the lower case fully releases.
  
  Remove the lower case.

1. Adım 4 Battery
  Remove the four Phillips screws that secure the battery.

  Grip the lower edge of the battery and pull it toward you to disconnect the blade-style battery connector.
  
  Remove the battery.

To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
For optimal performance, after completing this guide, calibrate your newly installed battery.
