Locate the two battery locks on the bottom of the computer.

Slide the left battery lock to the left, exposing the red indicator.

While holding the right battery lock to the right, gently pull the battery out.

Fully discharge the laptop by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds after removing the battery. This ensures that there is no electricity in the laptop itself.
