Once the needle snaps free of the head of the arm, remove the needle by pulling down. Take care to only pull on the red portion.

WHEN ATTACHING NEW NEEDLE: Slide the back (open U shaped side) of the needle on first, then press to snap the front into place. You should hear a click.
