Hi everyone, i did a screen replacement of my iphone 5 but after that the front camera doesn't work anymore, i tried to reseat the connector but steel not working, could i screw up the logic board? help!!!

you probably damaged the front camera flex cable. they are very fragile, replace and your camera will be fine

should it matter if the earpiece and the brightness adjuster still working?
i bought a replacement camera from ifixit as well and did the replacement, they don't work. the camera when turned on just gives a small glimpse of what it sees and then freezes, do you know what the problem is?

Does the back camera work? Some times if back cameras broke it won't cycle to the front camera

Yes--there is a row of very tiny SMD components between flex connector and board edge.
The other had damage to another tiny component on the other side of the connector. I will try to post a pic later
