The more complete the description of your problem is (what exact MBP you're using - there are many versions, what OS you're using -there's a lot of those too - and sometimes WSOD is OS related, some history - was this unit dropped, or a OS/install update aborted, have you been inside it?) the more assistance we can provide, and, the sooner we can provide it..

I have the same issue. Did you ever fix this? I have determined by hooking up an external monitor, that I can see a mouse pointer. That indicates that the OS is functioning correctly. The screen then must be the issue.

Did you read what I posted? Or are you replying to the OP?
We actually went farther and completed setup of new OS, etc. System is fully functional except the screen. Therefore we're saying it's the LCD, not the mainboard nor software issue.

Can I have more informations about your product (model - date) ?
I think it's a software problem with your boot assistant. Did you try an Internet / local restore with cmd ⌘ and R when you take it on ?
