Water spill, no power, trying to confirm if logic board damaged

My daughter accidentally spilled some water on her mid-2013 Macbook Air (A1466) and it won't power on. I have an almost identical 2013 MBA (i7-8GB vs i5-4GB) on loan so I’ve been testing some of the components from her non-working MBA in my working MBA using the awesome instructions from MacBook Air 13" Mid 2013. The SSD and the battery work perfectly and pass diagnostics in the good MBA with both power adapters and on battery alone. Also the power adapter lights up normally when plugged into the damaged MBA, making me think it’s not the DC-in board (not sure though). Based on MacBook Troubleshooting that seems to point to a bad logic board aka worst case scenario.

Before I try removing the logic board and installing it in the good MBA, is there any chance that it is *not* a bad logic board? It’s going to be a lot of work to remove/reinstall two logic boards (including some adhesive - I hate adhesive in computers).

Is there any troubleshooting I can do to the logic board itself to confirm if it’s bad other than just trying to power on? I’m reasonably handy with a multi-meter. At least I’m finally getting some use out of the Pro Tech toolkit I bought a few years ago :)

The light coming on means that the PP3V42_G3H circuitry is functional and being powered on both the IO board and the MLB. Since the IO board doesn't have any other basic functions, the main logic board is most likely damaged :(

Ironic, a relive poored wine on my MacBook Air. I put it in a box in the basement and months later I was going to throw the box out, but I tried it. It worked. It seems silly but you can just let it sit.
