Is it possible to use a 2 TB SSD in this MacBook Pro?

Hi,

I found your post and have currently the same project in front of me. But I am a little uncertain about the maximum limit of the memory size.

In my MacBook Pro 13” Mid 2012 I have a 500GB HDD. Does anybody know if I can upgrade to SSD with 2TB?

Any helpful feedback is highly welcome!

@mayer ... so sorry, I have done something to all the answers you made!!! I was trying to migrate this comment to an answer, then putting your comments with it and making it to a question all of it's own.. what could possibly go wrong after 2 hours sleep in 36 hours??? apologies. Can you cut and paste your answers from the original post and put them on here. I will grovel for eternity (or a few minutes.. which ever comes first) xx

@pollytintop No groveling needed, there was no harm done?

This is for 2011's. Not compatible with 2012's model.
