TomTom XL GPS info lost when I unplug from truck

I have a TomTom GPS that loses all set-up info when unplugged from truck. Battery does not hold charge. Can the battery be replaced - no screws are visible to open the GPS.

Replacement batteries are available online.

Just search for TomTom R2 replacement battery to get results for suppliers.
