Hi @np_f1_2021
Check if the hinges are still securely attached to the lid. I'm not sure where you meant that it is loose, Iid or base assembly, or if the hinges are literally broken.
If the base assembly side is loose, I would check if the posts that the hinges screw into on the base assembly are OK and not broken.
Here's the service manual for the laptop that may help.
If the posts are broken (and not the hinge per se) usually the part number for the base enclosure is to be found somewhere in the enclosure. The only problem with this is that you most probably will have to completely dis-assemble the laptop to find it.
If the problem is in the lid, it seems that the display panel is glued into the cover, so I can't see how the hinges are attached to the lid.
Maybe use a heat gun? to prise off the cover but if the screen still works OK maybe not, given the cost.
If the hinges are literally broken maybe work out how they're assembled and try to source replacements and somehow replace the broken part with parts from the new ones, i.e. if the centre pin of the hinge (or whatever is broken) is snapped but the section joining the lid is OK and secure then try to remove the pin and replace it with the bottom part of the new hinge etc. Not sure if this is practical but you will know better when you can see what's wrong.

I'll just clarify things up here:
The device is an Alienware M15 R2 (I know Kam IRL so he's showed me it on pictures)
The fans are "Buzzing" and are constantly on and off
The Hinge is toast (Broken - it would appear a screw came loose as he showed me this before)
The screen is basically free from it's hinge and is broken internally (the hinge)
I have directed him to this forum for some advice so if you all can please help him both him and I would appreciate it.
Kind regards,
Nick P

@jayeff can you offer any advice? I am going to do a repair assessment tomorrow morning with my toolkit. He (@roberto1) says that one tiny phillips screw has come out alongside the complete loss of structural rigidity for the screen.
Also he asked dell what a replacement screen would be and they quoted something ludicrous (Somewhere along the lines of 2k AUD)
Kind regards,
