My E key is being rather confusing

Alright so, I've never had problems with my computers keyboard before, but 2 days ago my E key fell off, I put it back on seeing as the entire clip and key cap detached so it was easy to put back on. But then it happened again, and again. Its been 2 days and my E key has fallen off 36 times (yes i counted, why? I don't know) Ive examined every part of it for damage and cant find damage, yet it keeps falling off, its starting to get rather annoying as it falls off often when I'm doing some Minecraft and chatting with other players. It's also the only key thats doing this, no other keys are giving me trouble.

My computer does have a history of overheating, it operates at around 88c to 104c when I use it, it gets very hot, I've actually been burned by it before, they keys on the keyboard itself don't heat up, but the metal around them does, so perhaps this has something to do with it?

So here I am, hoping that one of you may know a solution to my rather confusing E key problem.

This is very likely due to part of the keycap mechanism being damaged. There are some pretty small parts on the keycap and the little plastic hinge underneath it that need to be in good shape for the keycap to stay connected. It can be pretty hard to tell if these are damaged or not. If you post a detailed picture we might be able to help you figure that out.
