Phone shutting down after bump

As of a couple days ago, my Note8 has been completely powering down with even the slightest bump.

Sometimes it won't fully shut down though and recovers from a blank screen (as if it had shut down).

I haven't found really any info on this online and wondered if anyone had any ideas before I start taking it apart and (trying) to fix it.

I don't wanna end up buying a replacement battery or anything if that's not going to fix it and it would look like the phone was gubbed (though I hope not).

So if anyone has any ideas please let me know!

@noahdcr go ahead and start disassembling it. It sounds very much like a loose connection. I suggestion you check all the connections for the individual flex cables as well as the power flex. Use these guides Samsung Galaxy Note8 to work on your phone.

If you come across anything unusual, pot some good pictures of that with your Question. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question
